DAMA

This story has it’s beginning in June 2006, when Sandor Kiss has decided to visit us to mate one of his females.

Sandor and I know each other for many years and we had many opportunities to meet each other on the European rings. He is a true BRT lover and his “Big Black Nose” kennel is well known in Hungary. I was very happy about his decision regarding coming to Poland. As soon as he informed me, with which female he is coming, I knew immediately, I want to have a puppy from her.

Kris and World Winner, Junior World Winner, Int.Ch., Multi Ch. Lialia Chernaja Oleks iz Chernoi Stai - comes from the litter, in which such famous dogs were born as:

ALENKINA was mated with our Russian import IGRUN VASILIY S ZOLOTOGO GRADA and so, thanks to the Polish-Hungarian cooperation the litter with full Russian pedigree was born in the end of August.

I was really curious, what the puppies from such combination look like. That’s why we (my dear friends Edyta & Marek Kordowiecki and I) decided to go to Hungary in October. We were totally fascinated by the puppies. When we were seeing the girls, one of them stole our hurts immediately. She had something special in herself. She was “the one” !! None other, but she and I wasn’t going to leave Sandor’s house with out her !! And so it happened. She came with us to Poland :)

Sandor allowed us not only to pick her as the first, but also we had the chance to pick her the name. Although Hungarian is a very beautiful language, it’s pronunciation is completely impossible for the average European. Our little girl received the name “DAMA” (=Lady), which sounds quite funny, when we combine it with her prefix.

We need short time to see, that our DAMA is not a Lady and she inherited the temperament after her father Igrun. She is incredibly intelligent, lovely and sweet, but she will take care of herself in life very well. Her tail is always up and she has plenty ideas in her head. And so our DAMA became "MADZIARA" at home, which means “Hungarian” in Hungarian. Never the less we tell her few times a day: “Madziara what are you doing ?? Don’t forget you are DAMA!”. Unfortunately it seems, she doesn’t care. Our BRT gang liked her from the start and our youngest Hanka (Hana Willa Taira) became her favorite play companion.

In this place I would like to render my big thanks to Sandor Kiss for our DAMA and his trust. We will take care of her the best way we can and we hope, you will “hear” about her very soon !!!
